The residency thing is going nowhere. I didn't have any problems re-entering Argentina but they noted on my passport when my temporary residency expires - meaning that I didn't get extra time through re-entry. It expires next week so I suppose I'll have to go to immigration and go through paying the 10 peso fee for another extension since they didn't send me any notification that my permanent residency is complete. Honestly though, since I found out that a DNI is not required for me to apply for Gui's US visa, I hope that they just keep re-newing it so I don't have to deal with getting a DNI.
